Abstract: This article explored the value of positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) combined with serum carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in the diagnosis of gastric cancer. Chosen 108 patients with suspected gastric cancer treated, and analyzed the value of PET/CT in the diagnosis of gastric cancer, then compared the differences of serum CEA and VEGF between gastric cancer with and without lymph node metastasis. Among the 108 suspected cases, Sixty-nine patients with gastric cancer were diagnosed pathologically. The kappa value of PET/CT diagnosis and pathological results was 0.764 (P<0.05) and consistency well. The serum CEA and VEGF in gastric cancer patients with lymph node metastasis were significantly higher than those in patients without lymph node metastasis (P<0.05). The sensitivity and negative predictive value of PET/CT combined with serum CEA and VEGF in the diagnosis of gastric cancer with lymph node metastasis were 90.00% and 90.32% respectively, which was higher than those of PET/CT diagnosis alone, while the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05). PET/CT has good value in the diagnosis of gastric cancer, CEA and VEGF could have a certain application value in the diagnosis of gastric cancer with lymph node metastasis.
