Abstract: Effects of H2O2、metal ions et al on the photocatalytic reduction of dichromate and photocatalytic oxidation of dichlorvos were studied. The results showed that with the addition of a small amount of H2O2,the photocatalytic reduction of dichromate was hindered, while the photocatalytic oxidation of dichlorvos was accelerated. With the addition of trace amounts of Cu2+,both of the two above mentioned reactions were accelerated. With the addition of Zn2+ and Na+,no obviously effects on the reactions were observed. With the addition of methanol and toluene, the photocatalytic reduction of dichromate was accelerated, while the photocatalytic oxidation of dichlorvos was hindered. The possible mechanisms of the additives on the photocatalytic reduction of dichromate and photocatalytic oxidation of dichlorvos were also investigated.
