The Effect of DAR Couplers with Different Development Accelerating Group on Photographic Properties

Abstract: The effect of DAR couplers with different development accelerating group on photographic properties was researched. Comparing the photographic properties of DAR coupler which contained the same coupler moiety and adsorption group, while contained different development accelerating group. It was found that with different substitute group, the development-accelerating group affected the photographic properties of DAR coupler significantly. The photographic properties of DAR coupler, which contained trifluoroacetyl substitute development-accelerating group, was the best. And at the same time had good anti-aging properties, whereas did not change the absorption spectrum of the main coupler development.
