Abstract:

In this paper, chemical substances were chemically adsorbed on the inner and outer surface of nanotube titanium acid (NTA) to prevent the collapse of the nanotubular structure in the process of the transformation of the orthorhombic NTA to anatase TiO2. The pure novel anatase TiO2 nanotubes can be obtained by removal of the surface chemical substances. And these novel TiO2 nanotubes are hopefully used in the field of hydrogen production from visible light overall water splitting, drug delivery and nano-reactor.
