Abstract

Abstract: In order to obtain the frequency-transform characteristics of different types of FM screening,by using of FFT,the frequency spectra of 1^st order FM Screening(Photoshop “Error Diffusion Dither”),and the 2^nd order FM screening(KODAK "Staccato") are analyzed.The result shows that Staccato Screening has a relative symmetrical spectral distribution.The two types of FM screening have a close capability in frequency transform.
