Abstract: In this paper, the efficacy of Itopride and Omeprazole combined with He-Ne laser in the treatment of reflux esophagitis and impacts on anxiety and depression in patients were studied. 112 patients suffering from reflux esophagitis were randomly divided into observation group and control group, with 56 cases each. The control group received Itopril combined with Omeprazole, and the observation group received He-Ne laser irradiation on the basis of the control group. The total effective rates were compared between the two groups. The changes of esophageal mucosal gastroscopy grading, serum concentrations of gastrointestinal hormones and cytokines, anxiety and depression, and quality of life before and after treatment were observed between the two groups. The results showed that the total effective rate (94.64%) in the observation group was higher than that in the control group (79.07%) (P<0.05). After treatment, endoscopic mucosal grading was significantly improved in both groups, motilin serum level and SF-36 score were increased, and serum concentrations of vasoactive intestinal peptide, 5-hydroxytryptamine, interleukin-17, interleukin-23, SAS and SDS scores were decreased (P<0.05), but the improvement in the observation group was better than that in the control group (P<0.05). The results indicate that Itopride and Omeprazole combined with He-Ne laser for the treatment of reflux esophagitis have a good effect, which can effectively repair esophageal mucosal injury, suppress inflammation, ease anxiety and depression, and improve quality of life.
