Abstract: In this paper, a systematic study was carried out on the synthesis, crystal form adjustment, stability of crystal form and xerographic performances of Y-TiOPc. It was found that the prepared Y-TiOPc is in particle form of about 0.1μm diameter, and shows strong absorbance in the whole visible and near infrared spectrum, and its X-Ray diffraction spectrum is characterized by strong peaks at(2θ) 9.54°, 24.1°, 27.3°. The double-layered organic photoreceptor , using Y-TiOPc as CGM, has high sensitivity in the wavelength where LD emits, with half decay exposure of about 0.2~0.5 μJ/cm2.The photoconductive drum, using Y-TiOPc as CGM, also shows excellent performances.
