Abstract: Alkyl 2-amino-2-deoxy-β-D-glucopyranoside called C18 was synthesized. The interaction between C18and GOD (glucose oxidase) was studied by recording isotherms of monolayers. The transferred mixed C18/GOD LB films were investigated by means of spectroscopy methods. From the results of CD (circular dichroism) spectrum,GOD immobilized in C18films will partly change their secondary structure. According to the low temperature fluorescence experiment, part of GOD in the LB film keeps native structure, others of them become partly denatured.
