Photo reaction of dinitropyrenes in simulated atmospheric conditions was studied.The photochemical reaction rate was found to be of the second order.Different reactionrates correspond to different dinitropyrene isomers and to different carrier gases with possibly the competition of the quenching and oxidation by oxygen.The photoreaction productswere identified as pyrenequinone,multi-,and mono-nitrohydroxypyrenes,dipyrenone etc.The mutagenicity of photochemical reaction products is lower than that of the original dini-tropyrenes.

A series of donor-accepter systems linked by bisphenol A were synthesized in this paper.The electron donor is 9,10-dimethoxyanthracene.The dependence of photo induced electron transfer rates on the exothermicity of the reaction was studied.The rate constantsof photo induced electron transfer in these systems first increase with decreasing free energychange up to A △G value of-1 eV,thereafter the rate constants of electron transfer remainalmost unchanged as the value of △G decreases.The result is in consistent with Rehm-Weller relationship.

Scanning tunneling microscopy(STM)combined with fast Fourier transforms(FFT)and data simulation methods were used to examine the surface morphology and microstructure of porous silicon(PS)formed by electrochemical anodic oxidation.The relation betweenmicrostructure and characteristics of electrochemistry and photoluminescence was studied.The results showed that with the increase of etching current density the micropores expanded in the depth direction and the thickness of porous layer enhanced and the remaining Sicolumns became thiner. Corresponding to the change of the microstructure the luminescentintensity increased and the peak shifted toward shorter wavelength with increasing currentdensity, In contrast to crystal Si the flatband potential of PS was more negative and the cur-rent densities in cathodic and anodic region were increased simultaneously.

The fog development of silver halide emulsion with sensitizers of of sulphur and gold indevolopers D-19b and CD-4 were studied.The experimental results showed that the fogdensity produced by both sensitizers of sulphur and gold in D-19b developer is greater thanthat in CD-4 one,Moreover,in some sulphur levels the fog produced by sulphur sensitization is much larger than that gold sensitization in the developer D-19b,and whereas it issmaller in the developer CD-4 in comparison with that by the same gold level sensitization.These results were in consonant with the study of the fog developing dynamics of sulphurand gold sensitization in the developers D-19b and CD-4.These results indicated that sulphur sensitization is distinctly diffrent from gold one for the influence on the fog formation in the fog developing processes.The fog formation rate constants of the emulsion with the sensitizer of sulphur is greater than one with sensitizer of gold,and the fog development activation energy of the emulsion with sensitizer of sulphur is smaller than one with the sensitizerof gold in the developer D-19b.Conversely,the fog formation rate constants of the emulsionwith sensitizer of sulphur is smaller than one with sensitizer gold,and the fog development activation energy of the emulsion with sensitizer of sulphur is greater than one with sensitizergold in the developer CD-4.

In this work sphenyl 1-thionapthoate and 2-benzoylthiobenzothiazole were synthesized and their pbotochemical and photophysical behavior were studied.Due to introductionof naphthyl and benzothiazolyl group,the absorption range of these compounds have beenefficiently broadened.It was discovered in this work that the intensity of sphenyl 1-thion-aphthoate increased with time interval of irradiation,which was because of production of α,α'-binaphthyl with high fluorescence quantum yield.However,the phenomenon could notbe observed in photolysis of 2-benzoylthiobenzothiazole.Cage effect and external magneticfield effect also were discussed in this paper.

A monodispersed tabular grain emulsion was prepared successfully by pAg-controlled double-jet methds,The functions of pBr,addition time of aqueous solutions of silver nitrate and halide,ripening time,concentration of gelatin,content of iodide and so on were investigated in this work.The results were observed that number of the hexagonal tabulargrains was 92% of the number of the whole silver halide grains and the diameter of circle corresponding to the average projected area of the tabular grains was 1.2μm and the aspectratio was 14.The results indicate that the nucleus formation and ripening stages have important function for preparing monodispersion tabular grains.

Photovoltaic properties of two-layer organic thin film solar cells were investigated.Phthalocyanines(MPc)and perylene derivative(PTC)were employed for P-type and N-typelayers,respectively.PTC and MPc dyes were deposited on an indium tin oxide(ITO)coat-ed glass by conventional vacuum evaporation.The results show that the conversion efficiencies of the cells were affected by different kinds of MPc.
