CuInGaSe
2
thin films solar cells have been drawn much attention due to their potential for the fabrication of low-cost, high-efficiency, and high stability. CuInGaSe
2
thin films were fabricated by electrodeposition, where the reference electrode was a saturated calomel electrode (SCE), the counter electrode was Pt gauze and the working electrode was a Mo/soda lime glass substrate. The influence of different heat-treatment temperature on the CuInGaSe
2
thin films was analyzed. The results indicate CuInGaSe
2
thin films by electrodeposition is near to the ideal stoichiometry and have chalcopyrite structure and uniform grain when the temperature is 450℃.

Effects of the amount of sodium benzenesulfinate (SBS), sensitization time and temperatures on photographic properties of PTG materials were studied, in which PVA and 100 nm ex-situ AgBr was respectively used as binder and light sensitive component. The results showed that sensitivity of PTG materials was effectively enhanced whereas fog increased with the amount of SI3S when silver stearate (AgSt), AgBr or their mixture was respectively sensitized. In addition, different sensitivities could be achieved at different sensitization time and temperatures.

photocatalysts after photocatalytic reaction were characterized by fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) and differential thermogravimetric (TG-DTA) analysis. The reason of difference of photocatalytic efficiency under illumination of UV lamp and black lamp was discussed.

The effect of components including tetracholrophthalic acid, phthalazine and antifoggant with tribromomethyl sulfone groups on photographic properties of FTG materials was investigated in different pH, using polyvinyl alcohol as a hydrophilic binder, in situ formed AgBr as light sensitive component. The results showed that fog and maximum density could be reduced obviously by using antifoggant; maximum sensitivity of PTG systems was obtained when pH was in the range of 7.0-7. 5; however, fog was elevating with the increasing of pH.

Self-assembling growth of spherical colloidal particles is a promising technique to fabricate photonic crystals. Compared to other self-assembly methods, the vertical deposition method has received considerable attentions. We reviewed the recent developments of the improved vertical deposition methods. By using isothermal heating evaporation-induced self-assembly method, silica spheres with different diameters, which can be obtained with well-defined sizes and a very narrow size distribution in our laboratory, were self-assembled into superior quality colloidal crystals.

Non-oxide ceramics have a wide application in many fields, such as metallurgy, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering and electronics, due to their excellent properties. A lot of efforts have been made to synthesize sinerable ultrafine powders of non-oxide ceramics. In this paper, the progress of preparing ultrafine powders of non-oxide ceramics was reviewed. It involves mechanical grinding, reaction of elemental metal, carbothermal reduction (nitridation) of metal oxide, py-rolysis of polymer, chemical vapour deposition, and solvothermal synthesis. In particularly, the progress of carbothermal reduction (nitridation) was detailedly described.

This paper discuss the preparation technology of 193 nm photoresist from the structure design of matrix polymer, the synthetic technology of monomer and of matrix polymer, the evaluation of photo-acid generator and prescription research. Various suitable monomers and various structural matrix polymers were synthesized, a plenty of formulation research was carried out and the best formulation was sieved. The photoresist sample prepared was evaluated by SEMATECH. Its best resolution is 0.1 μm, the minimun exposure dose is 26 mJ/cm
