,was prepared by the solid-state reaction technique at high temperature and its luminescent properties were investigated. The results show that this phosphor emitted bright red light whether under X-ray,UV or VUV excitation. It has great potential for being explored as a new red-emitting phosphor because it can be easily excited by 254 nm,172 nm and X-ray light and emit bright red light. Its dominant emission peak is located at 610 nm and all other emission lines are very weak.It is observed that there is an energy transfer process between the Gd

ion and activator(Eu

Silver chloride cubic emulsions and {100} T-grain emulsions doped by formate on different positions of microcrystal were prepared. As a hole-traping dopant, formate can enhance the photographic sensitivity of the emulsions as high as 3—8 times without an increase in fog density. It was noted that the photosensitivity of the emulsions homogeneously doped by formate was higher than that of the emulsions doped only on surfaces.Synergetic sensitizing effects of the doped formate and sulfur or sulfur-plus-gold or spectral sensitization were observed in every doped emulsion, which can improve the sensitometric characteristics of the emulsion further.

Three polymerizable amines,EGDPM,DMPDA,EGMPM,were used as coinitiators for benzophenon photoinitaitor system.Their primary photochemistry process and photoinitiation kinetics in 1,6-Hexanediol Diacrylate system were investigated with UV-Vis spectroscopy and Photo-DSC.The result indicated that polymerizable amines type and their concentration played an important role on kinetics of photopolymerization rate and monomer conversation due to their primary photochemistry process properties. And increasing light intensity and temperature could lead to the increase of photopolymerization rate and the final conversion.

Bimatallic Ag/Pt nanoparticles were prepared based on Ag nanoparticle-mediated replacement and deposition reactions. The morphology, size, and structure of the bimetallic nanoparticles were characterized by transmission electron microscopy;it was found that these nanoparticles are bearing hollow interiors. The UV-Vis absorption spectra show the characteristic of single plasmon resonance absorption band and the peak initially red shift and then blue shift with increasing the molar ratio of H

Acrylpimaric acid,a diacid with alicyclic structure and good film-forming property, was prepared by the Diels-Alder reaction of abietic acid and acrylic acid. The diacid could react with divinyl ether, such as 1,3-divinyloxyethoxybenzene,in solid film when baked above 80℃ and the film became insoluble in dilute base aqueous. Thus formed compound can be quickly decomposed at the presence of strong acid generated by photoacid generator(PAG) above 100℃ and become easily soluble in dilute aqueous base.A positive photoresist could be formed by the diacid, divinyl ether and PAG.The measured photosensitivity is less than 30 mJ/cm
