The silver nanoparticle/chitosan composite matrix was developed to fabricate the glucose biosensor. The response current of the enzyme electrode containing AgNPs photo-induced at different time was characterized by chronoamperometry. The experimental results indicated that the response current of the glucose biosensor was inhibited by the photo-induced silver nanoparticles. The inhibitory effect of silver nanoparticles enhanced along with the photo-induced time. When the photo-induced time of silver nanoparticles was 120 min,the response current of the glucose biosensor reached the minimum value,-3.953 μA/cm2. The inhibition of response current of the glucose biosensor is probably due to the change of Ag+ ions concentration and the new surface formation of silver nanoparticles.

In the emulsifying process of AgBr microcrystals in the double-jet apparatus controlled by a microcomputer,a certain amount of oxalate salt was injected at specific time and pAg into a reactor to prepare AgBr grain emulsions in which oxalate ions were doped at subsurface of AgBr microcrystals, and which were sensitized respectively by sulfur plus gold, sulfur plus gold plus Zn (Ⅱ)-EDTA or Cd(Ⅱ)-EDTA,and dye. The results from the whole experiments and sensitometric results from these emulsions showed: 1) that sensitization of Zn (Ⅱ)-EDTA or Cd (Ⅱ)-EDTA on silver bromide emulsion was affirmed;2) That a cooperation sensitization of Zn (Ⅱ)-EDTA or Cd (Ⅱ)-EDTA,sulfur plus gold, and dye could be carried out to make a higher level of sensitization;3) That a cooperation sensitization of Zn (Ⅱ)-EDTA or Cd (Ⅱ)-EDTA,on the basis of (sulfur plus gold) and dye, with oxalate-doped was carried out to make a higher level of sensitization without any increase in the level of fog.

The anatase TiO2 sol prepared from Peroxotitanium Complex (PTC) at low temperature was used as the additive for photo-anode of flexible dye sensitized solar cells (DSSC). It is found that the photoelectric performance of DSSC was obviously increased by 50% with the addition of TiO2 sol. Furthermore,we investigated the effects of the sol content and reaction time on the photoelectric performance. It is proved that there is an optimal addition value for the DSSC application. When the content (volume) of PTC sol is 10% and refluxing time reaches to 9 h,the best photoelectric performance is obtained.

The Amidinium-Carboxylate salt bridge system bearing a pair of singlet energy transfer donor (naphthalene,NA) and acceptor (anthracene,An),NA-(amidinium-carboxylate)-An was designed and assembled. Steady-state and time-resolved fluorescence studies demonstrate that the singlet-singlet energy transfer from NA to An can occur efficiently within the supramolecular system NA-(amidinium-carboxylate)-An. The efficiency and rate constant are estimated to be larger than 0.99 and 9.9×109s-1. We infer that the singlet-single energy transfer proceeds via a ‘through-bond’ electron exchange mechanism, and mediated by the amidinium-carboxylate salt bridge.

The LaAlO3:Eu3+nanocrystals were prepared by the complex precipitation processing using NH3·H2O-NH4HCO3 mixture as complex precipitant. The material was characterized by XRD,SEM and TEM techniques. Three dimension spectra, emission and excitation spectra have been measured. The results indicate that the LaAlO3:Eu3+nanocrystals were in spheric phase with good dispersion,by annealing at 800 ℃ for 2 h. The crystal size is about 40 nm. The luminescent properties of Eu3+ in the LaAlO3 nanocrystals have been measured by 3D,including optimal emission and excitation wavelength. In emission spectrum the band at 591 nm and 613 nm are corresponding to 5D0-7F1 and 5D0-7F2 transition of Eu3+ ions. The intensity of the 5D0-7F1 transition is bigger than the 5D0-7F2 transition. With increasing in annealing temperature this trend is increased obviously. This phenomenon shows that the Eu3+ ion in the LaAlO3 nanocrystals is symmetrical.

The photocyclodimerization of methyl (or ethyl) 2-naphthoate NA in γ-cyclodextrin aqueous solution was investigated. Spectroscopic analyses reveal that γ-cyclodextrin can encapsulate two molecules of NA to make a stable 2:1 inclusion complex NA@γ-CD in aqueous solutions. Irradiation of NA in the γ-CD aqueous solution results in photocycloaddition with highly selectivity and efficiency, whereas no photocyclodimers could be detected in host-free solution.

Transparent conducting aluminum-doped zinc oxide (AZO) thin films have been prepared by the sol-gel method on glass substrate. In this paper, the effect of two different ways of heat-treatment and anneal on structure and properties of thin films was compared and the influence of doping concentration and annealed temperature on structure and properties of AZO films was studied. It was found that high temperature, layer by layer annealing and doping of aluminum are all propitious to the AZO films with high crystalline and preferential c-axis orientation;and on the other hand high temperature and layer by layer annealing are demonstrated to be beneficial to the crystallite size enhancement, whereas which is hold back by doping of aluminum;in addition, the regular change of the electricity properties of thin films was revealed with the change of annealing temperature and doping concentration of aluminum. By analyzing the process of crystal growth inside AZO thin films, the conclusion was drawn in this paper that the difference of crystalline, crystallite orientation and crystallite size of AZO films was mainly caused by preparing conditions and growth habits of AZO crystallite.

AgBr/TiO2 composite photocatalyst was prepared by double-jet method using TiO2 as substrate. The structure, light absorption and microscopy of AgBr/TiO2 were respectively measured by X-ray diffraction (XRD),ultraviolet visible spectroscopy (UV-Vis) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The photocatalytic activity of AgBr/TiO2 for degradation of methyl orange (MO) and butyl rhodamine B (b-RhB) was studied under visible light irradiation.
