Electochemical deposition from solution is a film formation method with advantages of short deposition time and mild conditions. Thereby,obtaining solution of insoluble organic semiconductors(such as perylenetetracarboxyldiimide,PTCDI) for electro deposition is critical to getting their films.In this article,the dissolution process of PTCDI is confirmed by UVVis spectrum and electron spin resonance(ESR).Films of PTCDI 32,PTCDI 179 and composite films of these two are prepared from the solution of single PTCDI and mixture of the two by anode electro deposition,respectively.Characterization by UV-Vis,SEM and XRD show that the films have following characters: flat surfaces,reticular formation,controllable thickness and morphology,wide spectral absorption of the composite films.

Two different water-coated photothermographic materials based on silver benzotriazole and silver stearate have been studied,which are prepared by two methods of in-situ and ex-situ and get pictures by thermal developed and wet developed separately.It is found that the sensitivity of the PTG materials based on silver benzotriazole is higher than that based on silver stearate.According to the measurements of pH,pAg of the emulsion and the decay of Dember photovoltage,it is analyzed that the developing level of the PTG materials based on silver stearate is higher than that based on silver benzotriazole in developing process.While the latent image formation efficiency of silver benzotriazole system is higher than silver stearate system in latent image formation process,which finally result in the sensitivity of the PTG materials based on silver benzotriazole is higher than that based on silver stearate.

Flower-,thornball-,and polygonal star-like ZnO nanostructres were synthesized in different solvents by a simple microwave-assisted synthesis method.The XRD patterns show,as-prepared ZnO particles are highly crystallized single crystal with a wurtzite structure.Nanorods with flower-like structure were formed in water,water/ethanol and water/propanol system,while ball-shape structure was obtained in water/glycol system.Decreasing reactant concentrations in water led to the formation of polygonal star-like structure.Photoluminescence spectra show that the excitation and emission peaks appear at 243 nm and 398 nm,respectively.The introduction of alcohol in the mixed solvents could result in an enhancement of emission intensity,which could also be achieved by reducing the concentration of reactants.

Using C—C coupling reaction catalyzed by Pd-catalyst,3,6-bis[2-(4-ethoxy-carbonyl)phenylethynyl]-9-pentylcarbazole(I) was synthesized.Investigation on photophysical properties of compound I showed that emission maximium in 40% THF aqueous solution exhibited 42 nm red shift in comparison to its THF solution.Excited by 660 nm pulsed femtosecond-laser beam,the two-photon excited emission of compound I showed a maximium at 489 nm in 40% THF aqueous solution.The corresponding two-photon aborption crosss section is 251 GM,with 60% enhancement compared to that in THF solution.

Iodine-containing SiO

nanoparticles were prepared by using 3-iodopropyl-trimethoxysilane as precursor,in which a BODIPY fluorescence dye was encapsulated.The presence of iodine atoms renders the BODIPY dye higher intersystem crossing efficiency by way of heavy-atom effect,thus higher singlet oxygen efficiency and stronger DNA photocleavage capability,fully demonstrating the promising potential of iodine-containing SiO

nanoparticles prepared were characterized by means of TG-DTA、XRD、XPS、UV-Vis、TEM and BET.The photocatalytic activity of the elaborated powders was studied following the degradation of Rhodamine B.The results showed that the photocatalytic activity of B doped TiO

prepared by Sol-gel method is much higher than that of pure TiO
2
particles.The most efficient degradation of Rhodamine B was found with TiO
2
particles doped with 20% B in mole fraction and calcined at 450 ℃.Also the reason for the enhancement of the photocatalytic activity of TiO
2
by B doping was discussed.

The boron-doped amorphous silicon(a-Si:H)thin film was deposited on glass substrate by plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition(PECVD).SiH

with high hydrogen dilution are used as the reactive gas and dopant gas,respectively.The transmission spectra and the reflection spectra of the films were measured by NKD thin film analysis system,the refractive index,extinction coefficient,absorption coefficient and other optical parameters of the films were fitted out and optical band gap of the samples were calculated using Tauc method.The results have shown that with the dopant increase,the refractive index of amorphous silicon thin film decreases as the light wavelength increases,and the refractive index at 500 nm wavelength was more than 4.3;and the absorption coefficient was as high as 1.5×10
5
cm
-1
at 500 nm wavelength.Optical band gap of boron-doped amorphous silicon(a-Si:H)thin film ranges from 1.7 to 1.8 eV.In a word,it is necessary to reduce the dopant concentration to get the widow layer with low absorption.

Novel Ag-doped TiO
2
perpendicular nanosheet films were synthesized by sol-gel method and mild solvothermal method.The as-prepared samples were studied by SEM,TEM,XRD and XPS,respectively.The dependence of the nanosheets grown with the quantity of Ti(OBu)4 precursor,and their antimicrobial properties were also studied.Experimental results showed that the low Ag-TiO

nanosheet films displayed excellent performance in killing
E.coli

S. aureus
under UV light.Moreover,the potent antimicrobial ability of the film was well sustained even in the dark environment.
