    In the second order nonlinear(NLO) optics,interchromophore electrostatic interactions have been suggested as a major challenge of the poor efficiency in the poling induced polar order.In this essay,we formed a β-cyclodextrin(βCD)-chromophore inclusion compound by embedding a βCD in a dumb-bell shape chromophore.This inclusion compound could prevent chromophore aggregation and minimize the interactions which hamper higher nonlinear optical activity.

    Cobalt(Ⅱ)-bis[4’-ferrocenyl-2,2’:6’,2″-terpyridyl] complex 1 and reference complexes cobalt(Ⅱ)-bis[4’-(4-methylphenyl)-2,2’:6’,2″-terpyridyl](2) and cobalt(Ⅱ)-bis[2,2’:6’,2″-terpyridyl](3) were designed and synthesized.Complex 1 exhibits obvious low-energy absorption from 500 to 700 nm due to introduction of electro-donating ferrocenyl group,which could be switched to mixed-valence charge transfer state ranged from 500 to 800 nm upon partial oxidation.

    A novel AgI/AgBr/TiO2 photocatalyst was synthesized by ion exchange of AgBr/TiO2 substrate prepared via deposition-precipitation method.AgI/AgBr/TiO2 was characterized by XRD and UV-Vis.The photocatalytic activity of AgI/AgBr/TiO2 was measured with methyl orange(MO) as dye model under the visible light condition(500 W,λ>420 nm).The results showed that AgI broadened the light absorption range of AgBr/TiO2 catalyst in visible light area and raised the photocatalytic activity of AgBr/TiO2.The maximum of photocatalytic activity of AgI/AgBr/TiO2 could be obtained when the AgI formation was 5% of AgBr.AgI/AgBr heterojunction was beneficial to separate the photogenerated elections and holes and then raised the photocatalytic activity of AgI/AgBr/TiO2.

    Amphiphilic poly(alkyl aryl ether) dendrimers with tetraethylene glycol monomethyl ether at their periphery(Gn,n=0—3),were synthesized by a convergent growth methodology and their structures were characterized by 1H NMR,IR and mass spectroscopy(MALDI-TOF).The microenvironment of these dendrimers was studied by using Nile Red as a fluorescence probe.The absorption spectra of Nile Red in water and Gn aqueous solutions indicate that the solubility of Nile Red increases dramatically with the increase of dendrimer generation.The steady state and time resolved fluorescence studies reveal that the microenvironment polarity of Gn(n=1—3) decreases with the increase of dendrimer generation.G1 and G2 dendrimers have similar microenvironment polarity,while G3 has a more hydrophobic inner cavity due to its globular structure.

    With fluorescein isothiocyanate labeled bovine serum albumin(FITC-BSA) as a model drug,the concentration of FITC-BSA in rat plasma was assayed after tail vein injection by utilizing synchronous fluorescence spectrometry.The impacts of sample pretreatment,measurement parameters were investigated.A simple and effective determination method for exogenous protein in vivo was established by utilizing synchronous spectrometry,whose results match with results by standard enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) very well.

    In vitro photodynamic activities of amphiphilic α-tetra-(p-carboxyphenoxy)phthalocyanine zinc(Ⅱ) complex toward human Bel-7402 liver cancer cell were investigated by MTT method.The photoinactivation was influenced by concentration and light irradiation time was studied.This zinc phthalocyanine as one of photosensitizers exhibits good inhibition effects under appropriate concentration,and the inhibition process follows first order reaction rule approximately.In addition,singlet oxygen species generated by phthalocyanine under illumination could wreck the cancer cell membrane,resulting in death of target cell.

    Novel AgBr/CaWO4 composite catalyst was synthesized by loading AgBr on CaWO4 substrate via ion exchange method.AgBr/CaWO4 was characterized by XRD,SEM and UV-Vis technology.The effect of loaded amount of AgBr and AgBr/CaWO4 amount on the degradation efficiency of methyl orange(MO) was studied under visible light irradiation condition(500 W,λ>;420 nm).The results showed that AgBr/CaWO4 displayed good photocatalytic activity and the degradation process of MO solution obeyed the pseudo-first-order kinetics equation.The photocatalytic activity of AgBr/CaWO4 for MO increased and tended to a maximal value with increasing the AgBr loaded amount,as well as AgBr/CaWO4 amount.

    In this paper,we successfully prepared nanoparticals,nanocuboid,nanorod and nanobelt of 4-(4-methoxybenzylidene)-2-phenyloxazol-5(4H)-one in different size using reprecipitation method.The morphology and size of nanoparticles are mainly controlled by solvent and temperature.The higher temperature benefits for large size particles.The absorption and emission spectra of nanobelt show bathochromic shift in comparison with other nanoparticles.

    A new coumarin derivative,1,3-bis(7-ethoxy-4-methyl-3-coumarinyl)benzene(mEMCB),was designed and synthesized.mEMCB exhibits higher triplet energy(2.42 eV) than that of the most green and red phosphorescent dopants.Furthermore,mEMCB has good thermal stabilities.The decomposition temperature(Td) is 361.49 ℃,and the glass transition temperature(Tg) is 79.72 ℃,which is obviously higher than that of popular host material CBP(Tg,62 ℃).The results indicate that mEMCB is a potential host material for green and red phosphorescent OLEDs.

    One-dimensional organic semiconductor ZnTPP nanostructures were successfully synthesized on the substrates by physical vapor deposition method.The morphologies and structures of the samples were analyzed by scanning electronic microscopy(SEM),infrared spectrum(IR),powder X-ray diffraction(PXRD) and so on.The effect of deposition position and source temperature were investigated in detail on the formation process of ZnTPP nanomaterials.The result indicates that ZnTPP nanomaterials and starting powders are two different types of polymorphism and exhibit different fluorescence emission activity.And the formation of ZnTPP nanorods may mainly attribute to the self-assembly in the gas phase on the base of VS mechanism.
