Abstract: Oxygen was produced with visible light from SrTiO2 suspension which was made up of SrTiOs powder and ferric aqueous solution. Under the special condition ([Fe2+] =1.0×10-3 mol/L, pH 2.8, SrTiO3 and WO3 powders, 1.25g/L each), the O2 photoproduction from SrTiO3 and WO3 mixed suspension equaled the sum of the O2 production from SrTiO3 and WO2 each. The photoacounstic spectra of absorption of SrTiO3 powders showed that the Fe2+ ions adsorbed on SrTiO3 powders greatly enhanced their viible light absorption.
