Abstract: Hyperbranched base-dissolved photosensitive polyesters were synthesized from 1,2,4-trimellitic anhydride and ethylene glycol and glycidyl methacrylate.By using the peripheral carboxyls of synthesized polymer molecules and allyl glycidyl ether reacting together, leading reactive trimethylopropane diallyl enther into the periphery of extra polymer molecules, the effects of the component of resins on sensitivity and alkali solubility were studied. The result shows that fairly good alkali solubility and photocuring can be gained through adjusting the proportion of reactants.

Key words: hyperbranched polyester, alkali solubility, photocuring
