Abstract: The conjunction of spin trapping technique——high pressure liquid chromatography-ESRhas been used to study the photolysis process of Ph3P, in which there are several kinds of active intermediates formed during photolysis. Each spin adduct presented in the system is separated by high pressure liquid chromatography and rapidly identified by its ESR spectrum.
