Abstract: In this paper the experiment distributions for Au, Ag, and Ag2S colloids used in physical development were fitted through logarithmic normal distribution. It is showed through the comparison of the theory distributions with the experiment distributions that the all distributions for these colloidal particles could be well described by the Logarithmic Normal Distribution, which might not depend on the composition of the colloids, the size, and the preparation method under these experiment conditions. Therefore, these colloids might follow the same-rules of nucleation and growth.
