Abstract: The development process is very compicated. The detailed mechanism of color development is not very clear. In the present work, the interaction of the color developer and the silver sol was studied by absorption spectroscopy, normal Raman and surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy.

Key words: silver cluster, p-phenylenediamine, surface enhanced Raman scattering
