Abstract: In this paper, the principle subject of the Nobel’s Prize in Chemistry in 2008—The Green Fluorescent protein has been introduced briefly. It consists of the discovery, development and the deep significance of this subject. The GFP-like proteins can use to monitor in time and space of an ever-increasing number of phenomena in living cells and organisms like gene expression, protein localization and dynamics. So,it is able to say that the discovery of GFP is concerned with a technical revolution in Biological science.
