Abstract: This study is mainly to explore the application value of ultra-fine blood flow imaging technology (SMI) in the diagnosis of carotid artery stenosis in patients with ischemic stroke. 120 patients with ischemic stroke were selected as the subjects, including 178 arteries with stenosis. DSA is regarded as the gold standard, the accuracy, specificity and sensitivity of carotid artery stenosis by vascular ultrasound and SMI were analyzed. It was found that the vascular ultrasound and SMI achieved good consistency (P<0.05). Compared with vascular ultrasound, the specificity and sensitivity of carotid arteries by SMI were improved significantly, especially for moderate and severe stenosis, and the accuracy of SMI is better and the difference is significant. In conclusion, SMI technology can provide a new non-invasive method for carotid artery stenosis.
