羧端基聚丙烯酸正丁酯光聚合研究

摘要: 在我们前面的工作中[1],以光引发聚合方式合成了环氧端基和侧基的聚丙烯酸正丁酯橡胶,为了比较羧基与环氧基在增韧环氧树脂中的效果,我们仍以光化学方法合成羧端基聚丙烯酸正丁酯。二硫化物有一定的热稳定性,但在光照下极易分解,生成自由基碎片。Otsu等人用有机二硫化物作光引发剂,引发烯类聚合得到有反应活性的聚合物[2]。李妙贞等人对一系列二硫化物的结构与光引发聚合能力间的关系进行了探索,研究了其光引发聚合机理[3]

Abstract: A photopolymerization of n-butylacrylate (nBA) initiated by dithiodipropionic acid (DTPA) has been investigated. A medium molecular weight, carboxyl-terminated poly(n-butylacrylate) (CTPnBA) rubber was synthesized for evaluation as a toughening agent in epoxy resins, and compared with epoxy-terminated poly (n-butylacrylate) (ETPnBA). According to the kinetic studies, the following equation was obtained: Rp= K(nBA)1.20(DTPA)0.38, and the value of Ea, the overall activation energy of this system is 41.0 kJ/mol. The molecular weights and carboxyl end groups of DTPA were determined. Meanwhile, in order to improve the compatibility and bond interaction between CTPnBA rubber and epoxy resin, the carboxyl groups were also incorporated into the chain’s pendents by the copolymerization of n-BA and acrylic acid (AA).
