摘要: 众所周知,TiO2是一种能进行光能-化学能转换的半导体材料.70年代初期,日本的Fujishima等人[1]发现TiO2电极能利用光能将水分解为氢气和氧气.从此,TiO2作为光能转换材料,在太阳能利用,环境保护,卫生医疗等许多领域逐渐引起研究人员的注目并相继在许多基础和应用方面得到了大量的研究[2~5].

Abstract: The effect of Ag+ and Pd2+ ion on the generation of H2O2 in the TiO2 aqueous suspension were studied and compared with the surface modification of TiO2 with Ag and Pd. The production of H2O2 under ultraviolet illumination was greatly enhanced after such noble metals were added. This effect was due to the inhibiting of recombination of electrons and holes by noble metal atoms adsorbed on TiO2 surface. But the amount of H2O2 generated in Pd2+/TiO2 aqueous suspension was not as large as that in Pd/TiO2 system during the first ten minutes of illumination. The slow reduction of Pd2+ under ultraviolet illumination to Pd leads to such results.
