Abstract: The effect of frequency doubled solid laser therapy on the clinical efficacy and CMT value change in patients with early branch retinal vein occlusion was studied. Thirty patients with branch retinal vein occlusion who received laser treatment were included in the laser group, and 30 patients who received routine treatment at the same time were included in the control group. The clinical curative effect, eyesight, CMT values change, fundus fluorescence angiography (FFA) check permeability and complications were compared between the two groups. The results showed that after treatment, the total effective rate of clinical treatment, visual acuity change at each time point, CMT value and penetration rate of FFA examination in the laser group were all better than those in the control group (P<0.05). Patients in both groups were followed up for 6 months, and the difference in complications was not statistically significant (P>0.05). The results indicate that the treatment of early branch retinal vein occlusion with frequency doubling solid laser has significant clinical efficacy, and can improve the visual acuity effectively and reduce the CMT value.
