Abstract: This study explored the value of electrocardiogram (ECG) parameters such as the cardiac electrophysiological balance index in predicting variant angina pectoris complicated with malignant ventricular arrhythmia. 82 patients with variant angina pectoris complicated with malignant ventricular arrhythmia were selected as the observation group, and 100 patients with variant angina pectoris only were selected as the control group, the differences of ECG parameters between the two groups were analyzed and compared, at the same time the differences of ECG parameters between recurrent group and non-recurrent group were compared. The QT, cardiac electrophysiological balance index and TpTe in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.05), while JTp was significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). A total of 38 patients had recurrent angina pectoris. The age, QT, cardiac electrophysiological balance index and TpTe of recurrent patients were significantly higher than those of non-recurrent patients (P<0.05), while JTp was significantly lower than those of non-recurrent patients (P<0.05). ECG parameters have certain application value in predicting variant angina pectoris complicated with malignant ventricular arrhythmia and angina pectoris recurrence.
