Abstract: On the basis of synthesis of N-(βethanol)-3,3-dimetylindolinospirobenzopyrans and derivatives, IR spectrum have been investigated. Evidently, the VOH varies of introducing nitro group at 6- or 8- position of the molecule. The double peak appears for some compounds. The vc.piro-O-C = is between 1260-1210cm-1 while vcare,-N appears two bands being between 1330-1300cm-1 and 1295-1250 cm-1 respectively.
