Abstract: The cyclic voltammetic behavior of ferrocene derivative——ferrocenyl-n-octadecanoate (Fc-OCOC17H35) which was attached on SnO,electrode surface by L-B technique was studied.Surface activity theory of molecules absorbed (modified) on electrode surface was employed to compare with the experimental cyclic voltammograms using a computer-fitting approach.Quantitative agreement between experiment and theory was obtained and some parameters such as standard electrode potential, cone,of attached reactants were estimated The results indicated that L-B film of FcOCOC17H35 can act as stable, reversible and fast charge transfer agent for modified electrodes.
