Abstract: Green-emitting phosphors of aluminate doped Ce3+,Tb3+,and Mn2+ were prepared by combustion synthesis. The phosphors of aluminate doped with Mn2+, Ce3+,and Tb3+ emitted character band of Mn2+.The luminescence and the optimum concentration of Mn2+ was interpreted by analysis of its structure. The luminescence of Mn2+ were reduced, especially the luminescence of Mn2+ were not observed in the phorphors while replaced Mg by Ca,Sr,and Ba.

Key words: combustion synthesis, Mn2+, green-emitting phosphors, luminescence
