Abstract:

Image information transferred from large diameter telescope is an important means for people to know and understand the universe. The resolution of large diameter telescope system is determined by the quality of surface profile. This paper describes a method for detecting large aperture surface profile of optical element, namely stitching detection methods. First surface data of each subaperture is got from the detected element, respectively. Then image processing algorithm is used to reconstruct the surface shape information. The face profile of a parabolic component is reconstructed by using stitching algorithm with MATLAB software. Digital image processing and three-dimensional visual image method are presented to improve the accuracy of surface profile detection. Finally, for the surface shape image processing, algorithms were made after spliced prospect. The considerations for further stitching algorithm are prospected, which put forward new challenges for sequential studies.
