Abstract: Trichromophoric laser dyes, consisting of two 1,8-naphthalimide derivatives as antennas and Rhodamine 6G of Rhodamine DR-21 as a lasing moiety linked via an ethylene, have been investigated by means of the measurements of absorption spectra and fluorescence spectra. The fluorescence of the antennas in these trichromophoric dyes was partly quenched. The energy transfer from antenna to Rhodamine is observed, the fluorescence quantum yield of the trichromophoric dyes can be increased by this energy transfer to Rhodamine. As comparation, the mixture systems or Rhodamine dye(Rh 6G or DR-21) and 1,8-naphthalimide derivatives have been also studied.
