Abstract: The photographic bleach process is simulated at a rotated silver disc. The silver halide formed during the oxidation can be determined by electrochemical reduction. In the simple way the influence of several parameters on the kinetics of bleaching can be studied.e.g.the composition, the concentration of the bleach bath as well as the pH. Furthermore. well as the mixed potential and the mixed current can be determined experimentally. The bleach process can quantitatively be described by the current-potential curves of the redox partners.
