PHOTOINDUCED REACTIONS OF 5,5- DISUBSTITUTED-1-PYRROLINE N-OXIDES WITH N-BROMOSUCCINIMIDE

Abstract: Photoinduced reaction products of 5,5-disubstituted-l-pyrroline N-oxides with N-bromosuc-cinimide were studied by ESR and IR methods. It was demonstrated that these reactions are hydrogen-abstraction other than radical addition. Mechanisms of these reactions were also discussed.
