Abstract: Photoinduced electron transfer reactions between alkyl diamines and ZnO,TiO2 dispersions in heptane or benzene solution were studied with the combination of ESR spectroscopy and spin trapping technique. The signal of a nitrogen-centered radical adduct of DMPO was observed. The results obtained indicate that the trapped radical is a cation radical of diamine produced from diamine and photogenerated hole.
