Abstract: In order to explore the application value of the contrast agent dual-flow technology injection scheme in combined head and neck CTA examination of dual-source CT, 164 cases of combined head and neck CTA examination in our hospital were randomly divided into traditional injection group and dual-flow injection group. The volume of contrast agent, CT values of the origin of common carotid artery, bifurcation of common carotid artery, siphon part of internal carotid artery and M1 segment of interest area were compared between the two groups. Subjective quality score was evaluated for the comprehensive display of common carotid artery, internal and external carotid artery, middle cerebral artery and distal small artery branch between the two groups. The results showed that there was no statistically significant in CT value, subjective quality score of common carotid artery, internal and external carotid artery and middle cerebral artery between the two groups (P>0.05); the volume of contrast agent and the subjective quality score of distal small artery branch were statistically significant difference (P<0.05). From the above results, it can be seen that the contrast agent dual-flow technology injection scheme has good application value in combined head and neck CTA examination of dual-source CT.
