Platinum(Ⅱ) terpyridyl complex incorporated into the channels of SBA-15 has been used as a photocatalyst for aromatization of 1,4-dihydro-3,5-diethyl dicarboxylates-2,4,6-trimethylpyridine.Upon irradiation, the photochemical aromatization takes place without additional oxidant, accompanied by the hydrogen production. The immobilized catalyst can be simply recycled by filtration.

4-(Anthracen-9-yl)-6-(hexadecyloxy)-1,3,5-triazin-2-amine(AHTA) was synthesized in three steps with 2,4,6-trichloro-1,3,5-triazine as starting material. The title compound was confirmed by IR,1H NMR,13C NMR,MS,and HRMS.The spectroscopic behavior shows that the anthracene ring and triazine ring in AHTA are not coplanar at ground state.AHTA shows ICT state emission at excited state.Different from the case in solution,AHTA shows H-aggregation in both self-assembly film and LB film based on the intermolecular H-bonding interaction.

Thermal transition of gelatin microspheres(GMs) and glutaraldehyde-crosslinked gelatin microspheres(CGMs) in both air and nitrogen atmosphere were studied in this paper, and gelatin-based materials with porous core were produced from GMs heat-treated at 250 ℃.The specimens were characterized by the thermal gravimetric analysis(TGA),differential scanning calorimetry(DSC),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),energy dispersive spectroscopy(EDS) and fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR).It was found that CGMs had an equal slight weight loss more than GMs from 300 ℃ in either air or nitrogen atmosphere, and the melting temperature(Tm) of GMs and CGMs are both at 228 ℃.A foam-like core/solid shell structure was formed from acid-treating GMs which were heat-treated for 7 h in air,and the dominant elements of the core are carbon and oxygen while the shell consists of carbon.GMs had not undergone any chemical reaction by heat-treating at 105 and 190 ℃.Heat-treating at 250 ℃ caused the amount decreasing of amide bond and tertiary structure transformation in gelatin molecule.

By changing the concentration of gelatin solutions,a series of Gelatin/Hydroxyapatite(HAP) composite microspheres were prepared through in-situ synthesis method in water-in-oil(w/o) emulsions. The products were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),transmission electron microscopy(TEM) and thermal gravimetric analysis(TGA).The experimental results indicated that the concentration of gelatin solutions had great influence on the formation of HAP.When the gelatin concentrations were lower than 0.025 g/mL,the formation amount of HAP increased with the increase of gelatin dosage.Once the gelatin concentrations were more than 0.025 g/mL,the formation amount of HAP decreased and the crystal form became poor with the increase of gelatin dosage. In conclusion, the binding of gelatin and HAP had a maximum value at gelatin concentration around 0.025 g/mL.

Kinetic behaviors of the homopolymerization of(N,N-Dimethyl-N-methacryloyl oxyethyl-N-benzyl)ammonium chloride(DMBAC) and the copolymerization between DMBAC and AM were studied.Polymerizations were carried out above the critical micelle concentration(CMC) of DMBAC,and the initiation process was carried out photochemically using 2,2’-Azobis(2-methylpropionamidine) dihydrochloride(AIBA)as a photoinitiator. The results indicate that the rate of the homopolymerization is proportional to the concentration of photoinitiator and monomer with exponents of 0.29 and 0.89,respectively,the apparent activation energy is about 13.74 kJ/mo1.The rate of copolymerization is proportional to the concentration of photoinitiator and monomers with exponents of 0.82 and 0.83,respectively,the apparent activation energy is about 10.97 kJ/mo1.The reactivity ratios of r1 0.27 for AM and r2 2.00 for DMBAC were also obtained, which suggests that AM prefers to form copolymers whereas DMBAC produces homopolymers.

N-15-monoazacrown-5-phenylacetylide was introduced to the polystyrene-supported polypyridyl platinum(Ⅱ) complex by ultrasonication in DMF.The obtained polystyrene-supported complex P1 can detect Mg2+ specifically both in solution color and luminescence intensity similar to that of the unbound mononuclear platinum(Ⅱ) complex M1.Moreover,the polystyrene-supported platinum(Ⅱ) acetylide complex could be separated simply by adding polar solvent for precipitation.

The degradation performance of volatile organic compounds(VOCs) under visible light irradiation by Fe-doped and nitrogen-doped nanocrystalline TiO2 powders prepared by hydrothermal method has been investigated systematically in this article. The absorption spectral edge of Fe-doped and N-doped nano-TiO2 powders have been red-shifted to nearly 540 nm and 580 nm,respectively.Experimental results show that the degradation ratio of VOCs was over 20% to 50% within 24 hours.CO2 was one of the final degradation products.

In order to obtain the frequency-transform characteristics of different types of FM screening,by using of FFT,the frequency spectra of 1st order FM Screening(Photoshop “Error Diffusion Dither”),and the 2nd order FM screening(KODAK "Staccato") are analyzed. The result shows that Staccato Screening has a relative symmetrical spectral distribution. The two types of FM screening have a close capability in frequency transform.
