摘要: 我们使用Monte Carlo型计算机模拟技术的潜影形成基本模型考察了氧气和水汽对潜影形成的影响.从模拟得到的结果表明:氧气和水汽可看作是两个彼此独立的影响因子,它们在潜影形成的过程中,各起着不同的作用。吸附在颗粒表面上的氧分子可以捕获一个光电子而生成过氧化基(O2-),此过氧化基如遇上光解产生的溴原子(而不是通常认为的水分子)则又可恢复成氧分子。因此,氧的存在会速成光电子的损失。与氧的作用不同,水分子的存在则因为可使光解形成的银原子簇极化,从而降低了银原子簇在形成过程中竞争光电子的能力,阻碍了浓缩斑的生成和成长。

Abstract: The fundamental model of the latent image formation by means of Monte Carlo type of computer simulation technique was used for examining the influences of oxygen and moisture on the latent image formation. The simulated results showed that oxygen and moisture could be considered as two mutually independent factors and played different roles in the process of latent image formation. The oxygen molecule adsorbed on the surface of grains can capture a photoelectron to form a superoxide radical, which may be restored by a bromine atom, instead of a water molecule. Therefore, the existence of oxygen will cause a loss of photoelectrons. Differing from oxygen, the water molecules inhibit the formation and the growth of a concentration speck because of their polarization to silver clusters, thus causing various silver clusters to have a decrease in competence for photoelectrons.
