Abstract: After improvement and development for 20 years, inkjet technology has been the major printing technology in wide-format advertising and printing industry. Through the rapid development of book print-on-demand requirement and national environmental policy coming to application, more and more focus have been given to inkjet print technology as a high effective and environmental digital printing technology. However, compared to mature multiple pass inkjet press, single pass press has extremely highest requirements in data bandwidth, data on-line restructure, high-resolution synchronous control and nozzle on-line compensation. Inkjet printing technology was firstly introduced in this article. Then responding solution was proposed according to the technology problem of single pass press. The single pass book inkjet press designed with the proposed technology had been sold into the market, and gained common acceptance from customers.
