Abstract: The cis-trans isomerization of stilbene photosensitized by perylene is studied. The photo-sensitization is found involving electron transfer from singlet excited state of perylene to stilbene. Applied magnetic field (1.5?10-2T) reduces the efficiency of photosensitization, particularly when the reaction is carried out in micellar solution.
