SYNTHESIS OF PHENANTHRO [9, 10-d] OXAZOLES BY PHOTO-CYCLOELIMINATION OF 4,5-DIAROMATIC SUBSTITUTED OXAZOLES

Abstract: The photo-cycloelimination of 4,5-diaromatic substituted oxazoles was investigated.The reaction mechanism was discussed with the Woodward-Hoffmann rule and free valence theory,respectively Three phenanthro (9,10-d) oxazoles were synthesized and characterized.
