Abstract: Novel BOE-PEEK with blue light-emitting had been designed and synthesized by direct nucleophilic substitution reaction of difluoromonomer and 2,6-bis{4-[2-(4-hydroxylphenyl)ethylene]phenylene}benzo[1-2,4-5′]dioxazole as blue light-emitting core, which was prepared through Wittig reaction of 4-hydroxylbenzaldehyde with 2,6-bis(4-chloromethylphenylene)benzo[1-2,4-5′]dioxazole.The chemical structures of BOE-PEEK have been determined by the spectra,GPC,DSC and TGA.The analytic results showed the weight average molecular weight(Mw) was 1.38×105,poly-dispersity index(PDI) was 4.35,glass transition temperature(Tg) was 195 ℃,beginning to decompose(Td) at 440 ℃.The spectra data of BOE-PEEK gave that UV-Vis absorption λmax was 372 nm and photoluminescent λmax was 455 nm.When driving voltage was up to 15 V,the device brightness reached 530 cd/cm2 and EL efficiency was 0.36 cd/A,which was consisted of substrate glass/indium-tin-oxide anode/BOE-PPV(single light-emitting layer)/aluminum cathode.
