Abstract: A new kind of fluorescence probe was synthesized. Based on its sensitivity to the change of environment, this probe was used to detect the structure of the amphiphilic watersoluble polymer in aqueous solution. Results show that there is a hydrophobic microdomain of polymer detected by this method very clearly.
