Abstract: Two cyano-substituted N,N’-diphenylstyrylanilines were synthesized, which incorporated both hole-transport group(triphenylamine substituent) and electron withdrawing group(cyano substituent). Study showed that cyano substituent lowerd the HOMO and LUMO energies and increased the electron affinity of molecules, thus improved the efficiency of electron injection and potential efficiency of molecules. EL device fabricated with these molecules showed good stability and low onset voltage.
