Abstract: The non-capped and capped hyperbranched conjugated polymers Poly(triphenylamine-p-Phenylenevinylenes) were obtained through a Wittig polycondensation. The structures of two copolymers were characterized.UV and PL spectra showed two hyperbranched conjugated polymers emited intensive green light in solution and film state. It is the first time to research their application in the fluorescence quenching ability of nitro compound, and the results showed high fluorescence quenching efficiency of the capped polymer towards o-NT,compared to non-capped product. When the concentration of o-NT was 21.5×10-3 mol/L,its fluorescence quenching reached 97%.This kind of polymer exhibited great advantages in quenching efficiency and preparation, indicating the potential application value in the detection of nitro compounds.
