Abstract: The effect of molar ratio of dual monomers,2-phenoxyethyl acrylate(POEA) and N-vinyl carbazole(NVC),on polymerization efficiency of photopolymers for holographic storage was investigated.Through monitoring the relative change of the double bond absorption of samples in FTIR spectra versus exposure time, the reactivity ratio of two monomers in solid films was determined and the polymerization mechanism was discussed. For satisfying the requirement of angle-multiplexed holographic storage,a prefect photopolymer model was supposed.Holographic properties of a series of samples with different molar ratio of dual monomers were measured and analysed.
