Abstract: Nano-crystalline titanium dioxide (TiO2) colloid was prepared from mixing TiO2 nano-crystalline P25 to sol by hydrothermal method.Using the nano-crystalline TiO2 as the electron transmission medium,a dye-sensitized solar cell (DSSC) was assembled. The influence of amount of mixing P25 on the photoelectronic properties of the DSSC was confirmed by XRD pattern,SEM ob-servation,UV-vis spectra, and I-V curve of the solar cells. The results show that when mixing proper P25 ([P25]/[Ti]=0.2) to sol,the photoelectric performance of the DSSC is the best. The photoelectric conversion efficiency with the film electrode could be 5.4% irradiated by a solar simu-lator with 100 mW/cm2.
