Abstract: In this work the microviscosity measurement for inner nuclei of micelles from two different surfactants were studies comparatively by fluorescence polarization with three different probes. The results indicate that the viscosity measured by the fluorescence puobe DMAmay represent the properties of micellar nuclei correctly. In addition, the structure of aggregate from the mixed cationlanion surfactant (1 : 1) has a closer-packing of surfactantmolecules. Hence it has a large η value as well as a large relaxation time than that from thesingle surfactant micelle.
