Abstract: Extra branched alkali soluble polyesters were synthesized from 1,2,4-trimellitic anhydride, epichlorohydrin and propylene oxide tert-butyl ether.By using the peripheral carboxyls of synthesized polymer molecules and allyl glycidyl ether reacting together, leading reactive trimethylopropane diallyl enther into the periphery of extra polymer molecules, the effects of the component of resins on sensitivity and alkali solubility were studied. The results show that fairly good alkali solubility and photocuring can be gained through adjusting the proportion of reactants. The contrast γ of resin can attain 3.92.
