Abstract: The spectral characteristics and photolysis quantum yields of ACRM composed of vinylidene chloride-methyl acrylate(VdCl2-MA) copolymer and pentamethoxyl red were measured. By adding photosensitizer MK, the ACRM that can not only be photolyzed by exposure at 254 nm UV light but can be photolyzed by exposure at 365 nm UV light. The quantum yields of ACRM without photosensitizer at 254 nm is 0.032-0.020, and the quantum yield of ACRM with photosensitizer at 365 nm is 0.11-0.034. The quantum yields of ACRM with photosensitizer is improved by 2-4 times.
