    The conjugated dyad system TTFan,linking the strong fluorescent anthracene unit to tetrathiafulvalene moiety through a double bond,was synthesized by the Witting reaction.Upon oxidation of the TTF moiety in TTFan,the electron-donating ability of TTF was reduced dramatically.As a result,the “off-on” process restored the fluorescence of anthracene quenched by the neutral TTF.

    The photosensitive system of [hydroxy(toxyloxy)iodo]benzene(HTIB) was studied by absorption spectra,fluorescence quenching and photopolymerization.The photosensitizer coumarin 1 with electron-donating property could extend the absorption of HTIB to near UV.The initiation efficiency of coumarin 1/HTIB system depended on the solvents largely.In DMSO,the polymerization of methyl methacrylate(MMA) could be carried out efficiently.However the photopolymerization was inhibited in acetonitrile.It was ascribed to the complex formed between coumarin 1 and HTIB photolyzed to unreactive species after irradiation in acetonitrile.The results obtained here can afford valuable information for the study of other photosensitive system contained monoaryl iodonium.

    Norbornene linseed oil(NLO) was synthesized using linseed oil and dicyclopentadiene,and was characterized by gel-permeation chromatography(GPC) and FT-IR.Based on norbornene linseed oil,thiol siloxane and photoinitiator a UV-curable organic-inorganic hybrid film was developed,and the UV-crosslinking reaction of the hybrid film was monitored via photo-differential scanning calorimetry(Photo-DSC),UV-curing scheme was analyzed and the UV-curing model was established.Photo-DSC results indicated that thiol siloxane(MPTS) colloids can greatly increase the free radical polymerization rate.

    The UV-Vis absorption spectra,fluorescence spectra and excited singlet lifetimes,transient absorption spectra and excited triplet lifetimes of novel tetra-α(β)-(4-pyridyloxy) zinc phthalocyanines were measured in this paper.Based on these results,we discuss the effect of substituted group and substituted position on the UV-Vis absorption spectra,fluorescence spectra and excited singlet lifetimes,transient absorption spectra and excited triplet lifetimes of zinc phthalocyanines by compare to relative compounds.

    The effects of solution acidity,light intensity, the presence of specific organic acids and their concentration on the photoreduction of Fe(Ⅲ)-5-Br-PADAP complex were studied.Preliminary investigation was carried out to probe into the reaction mechanism.It was found that Fe(Ⅲ)-5-Br-PADAP complex underwent photoreduction fast at pH 5.5 in HAc-NaAc buffer solution;intensifying the illumination would speed up the reaction;the presence of certain organic acids such as formic acid could promote the photoreduction while oxalic acid and malonic acid prohibited the reaction markedly;increasing the concentration of organic acids that promote the reaction could accelerate the photoreduction.

    Pure and Pr3+-doped TiO2 nano-powders with different doping contents were prepared by an acid-catalyzed sol-gel method using Ti(OC4H9)4 and Pr(NO3)3 as precursors and characterized by XRD,BET,XPS and SPS techniques.The effects of Pr3+-doping content and calcination temperature on the photocatalytic activity for photocatalytic degradation of methylene blue(MB) in aqueous solution,phase structure,crystallite size and surface texture properties of the nano-powders were investigated.The surface composition and surface photovoltaic properties of the nano-particles were also studied.The mechanism of enhancement in their photocatalytic activity was also discussed.The results indicate that Pr3+-doping can enhance the photocatalytic activity of TiO2 nano-powders as compared with pure TiO2.1.25% Pr3+-doped TiO2 nano-powders calcined at 600 ℃ for 2 h show the highest photocatalytic activity.The presence of Pr3+ in TiO2 can strongly inhibit the phase transformation from anatase to rutile,and reduce crystallite size,and enlarge specific surface area,and increase the contents of both surface hydroxyl groups and adsorbed oxygen,and enhance separation efficiency of photo-generated electron-hole pairs,and improve the light adsorption properties of the particle surface as well,which result in the enhancement in the photocatalytic activity.

    A series of diphenoquinone derivatives were synthesized and their molecular structures were confirmed by using CLT,IR,NMR and MS.The diphenoquinone derivative used as ETM was doped along with other components,e.g.,HTM and CGM,into a polymer matrix,to form a single-layered organic photoreceptor.It was found that photosensitivity was strongly dependent on ETM concentration.The half decay exposure firstly decreased with ETM’s concentration and then increased at higher ETM concentrations after having reached a minimum at 10%,and finally a plateau was reached after that.2,5,5′-tritert-butyl diphenoquione was found the best among other investigated diphenoquinone derivatives and the half decay exposure was 2.2 μJ/cm2 at 780 nm wavelength.

    Highly active Ag/TiO2 photocatalyst was prepared using a photocatalytic reduction method and was characterized with XRF,TEM and XRD,XPS and UV-Vis.Effects of conditional factors such as Ag doping,photo-reduction time,stirring gas and addition of Fe2+ on the activity of photocatalyst in nitrogen removal from water by coupled ammonia oxidation and nitrite reduction were investigated.Results showed that nitrite reduction rate and the nitrogen removal rate were highest with 1.0% Ag doping.Also,reduction was ineffective without sufficient irradiation during photocatalyst preparation,the photocatalyst activity was enhanced under protection of nitrogen and addition of Fe2+ increased photocatalytic reduction of nitrite.2 h photocatalytic reaction reduced the total nitrogen by 63.9% for water samples with both ammonia and nitrite.

    (4-phenylthio)phenyl diphenyl sulfonium hexafluorophosphate were prepared by the condensation of biphenyl sulfoxide with biphenyl sulfide,in the presence of P2O5 used as dehydration(agent) and methanesulfonic acid used as solvent.4-(phenylthio)triphenylsulfonium hexafluorophosphate was identified by elemental analysis,UV,IR,G-MC and H-NMR.The sulfonium salt has better curing character to epoxy resin.

    The photochromic mechanism of 3-methyl-1-phenoxy-9,10-anthraquinone was introduced.The photochromic mechanism was discussed from the "trans" structure to the "ana" structure between 240—300 nm and 300—550 nm in the UV-Vis spectrum.The transformation of the quinone structure was confirmed in the photochromic action of the phenoxyanthraquinone with the UV-Vis spectral data at the same time.

    To explore an efficient method to degrade organic contamination in paper-making waste-(water) this experiment was designed.Titanium dioxide nano-crystal were prepared by Sol-Gel method and characterized with UV-Vis spectrum and X-ray diffraction.The result shows that the sample is anatase nanometer sphere granule.These powders,as photocatalysts,were used to photocatalysis oxidation treat paper-making wastewater with wheat straw.Via experiment,we obtained the best technics condition,in which dosage of titania powder is 0.01 g/10 mL,dosage of H2O2(30%) volume fraction is 2%,pH value is 4.05,illumination intensive is 500 W,the illumination time is 9 hours,the removal rate of CODCr reach 94%,effluent liquid COD is 200 mg/L,which meet the discharge standard of water pollutants for paper industry,and turbidity degree. Chromaticity were decreased obviously too.
