Abstract: Fluorosilicone has very low surface energy, poor solubility with common hydrocarbon compounds in UV coating. So they can easily move to the surface of coating film during the process of pre-heating and UV photocuring, realizing the hydrophobicity and oleophobicity. The common UV anti-stain additives include organofluoro compound and organosilicone compound, and their structural difference could affect the hydrophobicity and oleophobicity. Three kinds of UV anti-stain additives were studied in this paper, C1607 with polydimethylsiloxane chain, KY1203 with Z-type perfluoropolyether chain, C1603 with the K-type perfluoropolyether chain. And then they were mixed with common UV coating compounds and cured with UV machine. The effects of structure difference on the hydrophobicity and oleophobicity were researched. It was found that polydimethylsiloxane chain had the best flexibility and movability, and had the good hydryophobicity with low concentration, so it can only be used in low-level water-proof and oil-proof coatings. The UV anti-stain additive based on perfluoropolyether has the more better hydrophobicity and oleophobicity than silicone. The UV anti-stain additive based on K-type perfluoropolyether has the much better hydrophobicity and oleophobicity than Z-type perfluoropolyether with high additive content.
